a special poem by sophie and jessye

sunflower seeeds reach their full potential at sunrise
lukewarm coffee split into two mugs on a rainy day that feels like the end of summer.
but if a pencil were a sunflower seed shit i lost track lost track in lifeilife in a boat waves waves
an empty can of diet rootbeer on a stack of books, lawscool and college bulletins.
thebutterfly know not its wingspan, flies without restranit
dogs motionless on the floor after running around chasing the rain and baking till they are hoarse.
serving the dark lord his featherreached the ground as he tipped his hat
too dull a day to inspire writing; sitting and staring accompany the rain, talk is broken up.
bitter feelings darg life sown and all we have left is to day dream of rainbows and skies of endless blue
wanting to back to my empty mug of coffee.

"Waves of anguish pour over my body
drown my soul
calm my mind

Hills of sorrow lay below my feet
pricking my toes
squishing beneath tired

If i was to tell you the truth about my heart
would you run from me
terrifed of my intensity,
would you run

What life is there in silence
But then what death in noise?
Sickly sweet scent of candles
burns my eyes

Yesterday i thought of today
Today i think of tonight
Tomrrow i think of yesterday

What say i?
if wind can change the face of earth
can love change the face of anothers heart?
should i try?"

-poem written by me, yet no title, though i think poem should be suffiecent :-P

oh man i have so many i want to post...

And you could laugh, Sally. You could go to sleep and wake up and never have to think who likes and doesn't like you. You could close your eyes and you wouldn't have to worry what people said because you never belonged here anyway and nobody could make you sad and nobody would think you're strange because you like to dream and dream. And no one could yell at you if they saw you out in the dark leaning against a car, leaning against somebody without someone thinking you are bad, without somebody saying it was wrong, without the whole world waiting for you to make a mistake when all you wanted, all you wanted, Sally, was to love and to love and to love and to love, and no one could call that crazy.
-the house on mango street.

i love that book.

also, i just have to post this because i am in love with lotr.

don't say
we have come now to the end
white shores are calling
you and i will meet again

what can you see
on the horizon?
why do the white gulls call?
across the sea
a pale moon rises
the ships have come to carry you home
and all will turn
to silver glass
a light on the water
all souls pass
into the west

okay corny i know but it's soo pretty and also really comforting if you're missing someone. more later!

My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So it was when my life began;
So is it now I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old.
Or let me die! -- Wordsworth
